Joe Scanlin in his '27 T Ford
drag roadster taken at the Chevron Station in Fillmore CA, where
he worked for 8 years to pay for his drag racing habit. Joe
first ran the T at Goleta Drags in 1949/1950, with a 3/8 x 3/8
flatmotor, and later at Saugus Drags with a 292 CU GMC, with a
best time of 118 MPH. circa 1951
