Bernie put down a record run of 134.17 MPH, besting the old record
of 130 MPH, and had to complete a return run to set the record.
Unfortunately during the re-staging someone opened the deck lid for a beer, and didn't close it properly. On the second run, nearing the traps, the deck lid blew open and ruined the record run. Oh well, that was racing back in the day."
